Rachel Barnes a.k.a Human Shaped Animal currently resides in Santa Cruz, California. Inspired by geometric shapes and the naturalistic world, specifically, the contrast and balance of the two. Her work finds harmony in futuristic, yet, primitive atmospheres. Recently, she has completed a series of “Art Planters” by integrating nature and functional art.
